Disa Kloof

During the 1970s, 14 Dutch Reformed congregations bought the Cascades Campsite in Betty’s Bay (adjacent to Harold Porter Nature Reserve) and started operating as a campsite where youngsters could camp at affordable rates. After some time, the campsite has been transferred to a non-profit company, Disakloof Jeugmaatskappy. Currently the vision of the Company is to provide up-lifting and recreational opportunities for the youth in their catchment areas, but especially to the youth from less privileged communities in the Western Cape.
We therefore aim to offer a high quality, cost-effective camp site, along with friendly and caring staff, for youth groups, church groups, campers and hikers, as well as corporates wanting to break away for teambuilding.
